Artist's Comments

So I was watching Lord of the Rings and this idea came to me. xD If it was thrown in the ocean, wouldn't it be REALLY hard to find? xD

Something silly.

The Ring will still find its way into somebody's hands. In fact, isn't that how the Ring found its way from Isildor to Gollum?

You are the light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone.

They suggested that in the book, actually... someone shot it down because it could still wash up somewhere or be retrieved by Sauron. Good thought, though. ^^;

As previous comments have stated, yes, the ring would figure out how to get eaten by a fish, then someone would catch the fish, and so on. The Ring has a mind of its own, ebil ring...

It was found in a river by Gollum, but if they threw it into the ocean maybe it wouldn't bother anyone.(unless mermaids exist..)

Did they? I read the last book so I missed the first two..

It might not wash up if they put it in a metal box! 8D

A fish? Hmm..I see. That could work too. But it might not if you put it in a metal box! 8D
